What is the night vision enhancement function of this model? What are its advantages?

What is Road Story Filter?
The Road Story Filter is a visual effect feature available on high-end 70mai dash cam models.When the Road Story Filter is enabled, visually appealing effects will be overlaid on top of the footage during playback of normal or emergency video clips in the app. These effects will display information such as vehicle speed, direction of travel, altitude, pitch angle, tilt angle, the lane depiction, and the distance to the front vehicle.With Road Story Filter, you can recall your driving experience vividly from a perspective and sensation similar to racing games, or analyze causes of accidents in greater detail.

What is motion detection? When does this function trigger the recording of parking surveillance video?
If you have enabled the motion detection function in the dash cam settings. After the vehicle engine has been switched off and enters sentinel mode, the dash cam will continue to record and the built-in AI algorithm will continue to analyze the scene in the field of view. In the event that the ongoing image algorithm of the dash cam determines that the level of threat by a moving object has reached the recording threshold, the dash cam records a 30-second parking surveillance video. The recording is then stored in the parking surveillance video folder of the dash cam’s built-in storage. In this scenario, the moving object is usually within the dash cam’s field of view for an extended period of time.
Why can't I use HDR mode after setting the frame rate to 60 fps?
Based on the HDR mode realization principle, the amount of frame encoding calculation is equal to 60 fps under the setting of HDR+30 fps. HDR and 60 fps cannot be enabled simultaneously on mainstream dash cam controllers because the processing capability is insufficient.
What are the advantages of HDR mode?
This model is equipped with hardware-level HDR capability, which can greatly optimize the imaging effect in scenarios with strong brightness contrast, such as the following:
Entering and exiting tunnels or underground garages during the daytime on a sunny day;
Headlights shining directly on the license plate of the vehicle at night;
Shadow imaging of objects on the road in areas exposed to strong sunlight.
What is the recording duration of the X800 parking surveillance power?
When time-lapse mode, motion detection and collision detection are all enabled, the recording duration is 32 hours.With time-lapse and collision detection enabled and motion detection disabled, the recording duration is 46 hours.
Why is my memory card not working?
This dash cam model supports 4K 60fps images and requires high-speed memory cards. Use a U3 or higher memory card. Based on the adaptation results of lab tests:
- Highly recommended: Official 70mai memory card:
- Memory cards that work properly in normal lab aging tests: Kingston U3 level 64GB+ memory card, Sandisk U3 level 32GB~256GB memory card, Lexar U3 level 128GB+ memory card;

If I already have an old Omni and a UP03/ UP04/ UP05, do I need to uninstall and reinstall when purchasing a 4K Omni?
No, you don’t need to repeat the installation. You can just replace the front cam.
I have other 70mai models with rear recording. Can I directly replace the front camera and continue using the same rear camera?
No, currently the 4K Omni only supports the RC14 and the dedicated 4K Omni CPL.
Does 4K Omni works well in summer conditions orutdoors?
4K Omni use supercapacitor which allowing it to handle more extreme temperatures (-10°C~60°C) and providing better overall performance.
